A business identity fraud crime is unlikely to occur when a fraud criminal cannot find a human link to the company. Anonymous business registration is possible. The private registration of a business as described in this identity protection article is modeled after the privacy tactics that have been used successfully to prevent identity theft of a Nevada Limited Liability Company.

A Nevada LLC may own the company while the articles of organization, a public record document may contain only the name of the attorney forming the business. This same attorney may serve as the resident agent.

The Trust Manager Principle is a business identity theft prevention tactic utilized to satisfy the company manager's name requirement on Secretary of State, registration records. A trust used for the purpose of being the manager of the business will have no registration requirements and should have a name unrelated to the trustee(s) or the LLC.

An administrative trustee may be hired as a subcontractor to sign on behalf of the trustee of the trust on state registration forms. No other powers need to be assigned to this person who is essentially a nominee for the controllers of the business.

Private business registration allows the company to be a legal entity while eliminating links to the human managers and controllers of the LLC. Business identity fraud risk is reduced, and the probability of an identity crime will be unlikely when the trust manager principle is implemented for business privacy. This privacy principle may be effective for businesses stop identity theft.
